One of the concierges, Mierca, was excellent. Professional & welcoming.
Small issue only, Room 101 had torn carpet and one of the bathroom electrical points was hanging from the wall. It felt a little like the room where 'discounted' customers get put.

The Beautiful Double or Twin Room was spacious with a comfy bed, made for a great night's sleep. The decor felt luxurious and had a nice modern touch, but you could also see some wear in certain areas. The bathroom was nice, but I expected a bit more luxury with the fixtures. It had a pleasant vibe, and the room was nicely maintained despite its historical setting.

It was just a perfect match for a short interlude in Barcelona with great value for money. The art deco details in the hotel were a good surprise, made our stay nice. Be sure to check out the small artistic features in the corridors.
